Jizzakh

Zaamin Nature Reserve — a scenic mountain area in Jizzakh region, often called the “Switzerland of Uzbekistan.” It is home to fresh mountain air, juniper forests, and unique flora and fauna. Visitors enjoy hiking, relaxation, and the beauty of untouched nature.

Tuzkon Lake (also called Tuzkan) is located in the Forish district of Jizzakh Region, Uzbekistan, and is part of the Aydar-Arnasay lake system. It is about 35 km long and up to 22–25 km wide. The water is highly mineralized, with a salt content of around 4.0 g/l in the north and about 4.9 g/l in the south. Although originally natural, the lake expanded in size after overflow from the Chardara reservoir raised its water level.
